Terry

I am a recent retiree 2015. While one would think that the Warrior Transition Battalions that soldiers are placed in would be rich in contacts and knowledge, it was actually the professional contacts that I gained through Azimuth that helped me the most. I lost the vision in one eye in Afghanistan due to a hostile, combat engagement. While at the WTB for five surgeries and treatments, I was given an extreme run around with no resolution in my search for a contact for a working dog for the visually impaired, as well as a dual therapy dog. When I was made aware by a buddy of the folks at Azimuth.org, it took me literally less than 48 hours to be put in contact with an agency out of Nevada that began to assist, and provide the contacts and needed assets for my visual and behavioral issues. I have been impressed with their tireless drive to help the veteran.
